  • Jack L. McCaskey, 83, of Hot Springs Village passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016. Jack was born August 5, 1932 in Canton, Illinois to Earl and Stella (Engle) McCaskey.

    Jack was a Veteran of the US Army, he worked at International Harvester for 35 years and retired as Director of Finance, he was an avid golfer and a Board Member of Navistar Supplemental Health Trust.

    Mr. McCaskey is survived by his wife of 13 years Annelle, 2 children: Dr. Stephen McCaskey and wife Kim, Tracey Hopkins and husband Mark, 3 grandchildren: Olivia Hopkins, Meghan Bailey & husband Scott, Robert Hopkins, 2 great-grandchildren: Reese and Avery Bailey, step-daughters: Leszlie & John Nedelka, Michelle Smith & Mark Herholdt, Sheila & Terry Ward, step-grandchildren: Clay and Adam Nedelka. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Todd McCaskey, half siblings: Donald & Bob McCaskey, Betty Clark, 2 spouses: Isabelle Cernich & Betty Kyle.

    Memorials may be made in honor of Jack, to Christ Lutheran Church in Hot Springs Village.

    Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to CedarVale Funeral Home.

    Annelle: I am so sorry for your sad loss. Jack was always more than my customer. He was a friend. I valued my professional association with him, but more, I always enjoyed chatting with Jack. I am grateful for the time I was able to spend with Jack. I will miss him. I hope you recover from this sad loss. Just remember: "for every door that closes, another one opens." Take care. Dan.
